ALPHA PHI ALPHA FRATERNITY, INC. OMICRON BETA LAMBDA CHAPTER
Established in Clearwater, Florida through the leadership of the late Brother Joseph L. Carwise. Its membership currently includes professionals in such diverse areas as law, medicine, engineering, criminal justice, real estate, business, insurance, and education.
The fraternity recognizes the need for a program dedicated to helping Minority Youth. The main goal of the Alpha Institute and Men of Tomorrow programs is to provide positive interaction between young minorities and successful professionals.

Nu Beta Omega (NBO) is a group of progressive, innovative, hardworking women about the business of Alpha Kappa Alpha. As members of Nu Beta Omega, we are firmly committed to upholding the legacy of being “Supreme in Service to all Mankind” by addressing the important issues of the present and future. Since its inception, Nu Beta Omega has maintained an on-going commitment to making a difference in our community through exemplary service initiatives and progressive programs.
The chapter maintains an ongoing commitment to the national programs of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and other areas, which focus on youth development such as:

For over 70 years, the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County (JWB) has been committed to making children a priority – advocating for their best interests and investing to improve their futures.
JWB is a high-performing, data-driven organization established by a Special Act of the Florida Legislature to strengthen the lives of children and families in Pinellas County. As a countywide special taxing district, we responsibly direct our community’s investments to give children the best opportunities to lead healthy, successful, and satisfying lives.
